"This weekend is the grand opening," said Dannielle Kimborough, President of the Junior League of Tuscaloosa, during an interview with 105.1 The Block's DreDay in the Morning with Comedian LP.

"We've got free ice cream, and vendors, we'll have a big ribbon cutting, and our signature Dash bunny will be on the trail for pictures."

The Bunny Trail is a fundraiser for the Junior League of Tuscaloosa. Located in the heart of downtown Northport, the Bunny Trail is a display of over 100 sponsored and decorated eggs. Each egg is sponsored and decorated by a local business, organization, or individual.

This year's bunny trail will feature multiple special event nights, including the Bunny Trail after dark, the Egg Hunt, the Pet Eggstravaganza, and more.

"Everything that we do on the bunny trail is for the community. We are trying to bring excitement, fun, and people down to historic downtown Northport. The bunny trail is a great way to do that. Families can enjoy something almost every weekend throughout the season."

The Bunny Trail opens February 28, 2026, and eggs will be on display until April 5, 2026. You can find more information on select nights and frequently asked questions on the Northport Bunny Trail's site here.
