Free Family Fun Planned at Kristen Amerson Fall Festival
Families in Tuscaloosa can look forward to an evening of entertainment, games and outdoor movie fun as the Kristen Amerson Youth Foundation prepares for its upcoming Fall Festival and Movie Night.
The family-friendly celebration will take place Friday, October 30, 2026, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at University Place Elementary School in Tuscaloosa.
The event will feature music from award-winning radio personality and The Big Dawg DreDay, who will provide entertainment and help keep the crowd engaged throughout the festivities.

Organizers have planned a variety of activities for children and families, including a bounce house, virtual gaming, face painting, a giant coloring station, games, contests and prizes.
Attendees can also enjoy a popcorn bar, snow cones, glow bracelets and food trucks throughout the evening.
One of the main attractions will be a special outdoor screening of Disney Pixar's *Coco*, scheduled to begin between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m.
The animated film follows a young boy named Miguel on a journey through the Land of the Dead, exploring themes of family, music and remembering loved ones.
Families are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the movie together outdoors.
The Kristen Amerson Youth Foundation is organizing the celebration to bring families and community members together for an evening of activities and entertainment.
With Halloween taking place the following day, the festival offers another opportunity for children and parents to enjoy seasonal festivities while spending time together.
Organizers are encouraging residents to invite friends and family members and help spread the word about the upcoming celebration.
