
Brookwood Woman Dies, 2 Others Hurt in Tuesday Crash Outside Tuscaloosa
A Brookwood woman was killed in a head-on collision in Tuscaloosa County on Tuesday, which also injured another woman and a juvenile.
Senior Trooper Gregory Corble with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said the crash happened Tuesday night around 8 p.m. on Alabama Highway 69 North.

Troopers said 43-year-old Haley G. Lancaster of Brookwood was fatally injured when the 2013 Hyundai Sonata that she was driving collided head-on with a 2023 Ford Expedition being driven by a 45-year-old Northport woman.
The State Troopers said Lancaster was not using a seat belt and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other woman was injured and transported to DCH Regional Medical Center Hospital in Tuscaloosa for treatment, and a 12-year-old in the Expedition was also hurt and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Corble said the crash happened on Alabama 69 near mile marker 155, approximately seven miles north of Tuscaloosa, in Tuscaloosa County.
No other details were available on Wednesday as ALEA continues to investigate the deadly accident.
