A large-scale fight at a service station in the Fosters community of southern Tuscaloosa County drew a huge police presence but did not result in serious injuries.

Deputy Jessica McDaniel, a spokesperson for the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office, said deputies were called to the Chevron in Fosters off Highway 43 at 5:45 Monday evening on reports of a fight there.

McDaniel said multiple people went to the Chevron and fought with one clerk there, which drew more than 10 sheriff's office vehicles and other first responders to the scene.

McDaniel said all suspects were detained and identified and no serious physical injury was reported.

She said the Investigation into the attack is ongoing but called it an isolated incident.

Staff at the store suggested on social media that some members of the group had been to the Chevron this weekend and returned specifically looking to "jump" the clerk with whom they fought.
