Guin Man Dies Week After Motorcycle Crash in Marion County
A Guin man who was critically injured in a motorcycle crash last week died on Monday at a Mississippi hospital, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The State Troopers report that Justin L. Stidham, 25, was thrown from his 2006 Suzuki VZ800 motorcycle after it was struck by a 2020 Hyundai driven by a woman from Brilliant, Alabama, at approximately 9:02 p.m. on June 22.
Senior Trooper Gregory Corble said the collision happened on Alabama 253 near the six-mile marker, about three miles northeast of Guin in Marion County — roughly an hour's drive southwest of Tuscaloosa.

Stidham was transported to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on Monday, June 29, according to Corble.
The other driver was also injured in the crash and was transported to Northwest Regional Health in Winfield for treatment.
Corble said troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
