The Hoover Police Department said that officers "who were already en route to the location of the 911 call" located Russell's vehicle and some of her belongs. However, they were unable to find her or a child in the area.

On Friday night, WBRC Fox6 News reported that it had obtained traffic camera video from I-459 at the time of Russell's disappearance. Here is that footage, via Facebook:

Hoover Police revealed that they "have not received" any call of someone missing a small child.

The police department described Russell as a black woman, 5 feet 4 inches and 150-160 pounds. The department said that she was last seen wearing "a black shirt, black pants and white Nike shoes."
