Crash Blocks I-20 East / 59 North in Tuscaloosa County Near Mercedes
A Friday afternoon crash in wet weather is blocking all north- and eastbound interstate traffic in Tuscaloosa County.

Brandon Bailey, a spokesperson for the Alabama State Troopers, told media a two-vehicle crash at 10:36 has blocked the northbound lanes of Interstate 59 / the eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 near Mile Marker 91, not far from the Mercedes Benz U.S. International Plant.
Bailey said all lanes in that direction are closed and will be for an undetermined amount of time.
UPDATE, 12:30 P.M.: Bailey said the roadway has reopened.
