Jireh’s “Floor Exercise”

My 3-year-old has been taking gymnastics classes at Tuscaloosa Tumbling Tides since shortly after she turned 2.  They practice in an open gym with numerous levels active at the same time. Apparently, she's been paying attention to the older gymnasts doing floor exercises.

"Happy" is one of her favorite songs, which is great to me. She is a genuinely happy child, and her gymnastics class is probably the biggest highlight of the week for her. So, seeing her combine the two was cool, but knowing that she pays enough attention to the song and video to know the words and actions (I LOVE when she squats like Pharrell at about the 1:42 mark) and watches the older girls practice their floor exercises really shows me how observant she is. I'm so grateful.
