Judge Overturns Conviction Of 14 Year Old George Stinney

George Stinney was just 14 when he was arrested and charged will killing two white girls in Alcolu, South Carolina a segregated mill town about 45 miles southeast of Columbia.

George Stinney was arrested convicted and executed within three months with no appeal. Circuit Judge Carmen Mullen threw out the conviction, saying the state committed a great injustice.
