K. Michelle was once a strong supporter of R. Kelly. However, that friendship ended up hurting her relationship with Trey Songz, which the singer revealed in a new interview.

The 'Love & Hip Hop' reality TV star has defended Kelly through his public battles in the past and even dissed Songz as a way of showing her support towards the "Pied Piper of R&B." Recently, the fuzzy friendship turned sour when the 'Black Panties' crooner claimed that he smashed K. Michelle and later rescinded his comments.

During a chat with Chicago radio station 107.5, K. Michelle opened up about her own actions and Kelly's false allegations.

"I just thought it was really distasteful. I know you know I will always respect him. I learned so much from him. We all hit a point in our lives where we might need to say things to get different looks or to look a certain kinda way. He did put out an apology for it. I think it was more hurtful than anything because I’ve been so loyal to him," she said about Kelly.

She then went on to explain how it ruined how she and Songz interacted. "If anybody would say anything…I’ve messed up relationships even with Trey Songz and everything from defending R. Kelly. Hopefully me and Trey will be able to talk through it," K. Michelle shared. "I know some people have been reaching out for us to really sit down and talking through it, but the relationships in the business that I’ve put on hold for Rob, just having his back, it’s kinda hurtful for him to come at me like that and make up some things that weren’t appropriate. But he did try to correct them."
