Early Look at Possible Severe Weather Late Week in Alabama
Early week will be on the warm side, with a few small, isolated showers on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then, on Thursday, there is a chance of spotty showers.

The Townsquare Media Weather Center is monitoring the potential for severe weather on Friday evening into Saturday as a cold front approaches. Currently, the Storm Prediction Center has issued a severe weather risk for the northwest corner of Alabama, including one county in our coverage area, Lamar.
“At the moment, it looks like the core threat of severe storms will remain west and north of Alabama, but we will watch model trends over the next few days,” James Spann, Alabama Weather Network and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist.
