Look: Alabama Crimson Tide Back at Practice on Tuesday
The Alabama Crimson Tide was back on the practice field on Tuesday after its scrimmage on Saturday. The Tide is now in its final week of spring practice for 2022 and looking to take another step in development before the summer break.
"I think there’s a lot of stuff for us to clean up. We didn’t have our sharpest scrimmage this past weekend. A lot of that is on me. I think that spring is a time for us to kind of iron out the kinks and for us to grow and get better." said Alabama quarterback Bryce Young. "You’re always going to come into obstacles. I think we know that. At the same time, we can’t be complacent. We can’t be OK with any shortcomings that we have."
Young went on to highlight A-Day this Saturday as the Heisman Trophy winner is the reigning A-Day MVP. Fans wanting to get an early glimpse of the offense can show up to Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, April 16 at 2 p.m. for the scrimmage.
"I’m excited for A-Day. Super excited this weekend again. Another chance to compete. A chance for the fans to come in, and whenever we get that support from the community and the fans, it means the world to us," said Young. "I am super excited for this week of practice, for us to try to try to iron out some of the kinks and to expand on things we haven’t been doing positively, and for this weekend, A-Day, for us to try to put on a display for you guys and for us to go out and compete."
