I’m Caught in a Love Triangle at the Tuscaloosa, Alabama Cookout
It’s hard when you are caught in a love triangle, especially during the holiday season. The! Drama!
This time my latest admiration has me caught in a bind. I’m feeling an immense amount of pressure to get out of this love triangle but I just can’t. Also, there are several people really upset with me over this situation. Luckily for me, this entanglement only lasts during the holiday season. Then I wait another 11 months before it starts back up.
This love triangle is between three different milkshakes from Cookout. There are 2 that are holiday specialties and one is my good ole’ standby. Cookout why do you do this to me? When I say these holiday shakes taste like holiday cheer, I’m not lying. You see they got me in a love triangle.
Peppermint Chocolate Chip
Each sip feels like Winter and I never want it to stop. It is cool and refreshing and feels like you should be singing “Deck the Halls.”
Egg Nog
This shake gives you the classic holiday feeling. Rich, creamy, and then the flavors hit you. The combo of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove is a tradition at its finest.
Cappuccino Oreo
My standby shake is the Cappuccino Oreo. The best way to describe this combination is a comfort milkshake. It’s like a big hug.
Now, you see why I’m in a love triangle.
Let’s talk about the people who are mad at me over these shakes. At the top of the list are my friends that live in states without a Cookout. That should be a sin. Next, would be my trainer and scale but it’s the holidays and the shakes are for a limited time. YOLO – you only live once.
