Mayor Walt Maddox Appoints Tony Meggs City Clerk

In a press release the City of Tuscaloosa announced that Mayor Walter Maddox has appointed Tony Meggs as city clerk.

Mayor Walter Maddox said "Mr. Meggs brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the city clerk’s office."  "His background in operations, planning and logistics will greatly assist the City of Tuscaloosa as we work toward being the most innovative and effectively-managed city in the United States."

According to the press release Meggs, is retired from the U.S. Air Force, holds a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in operations management from the University of Arkansas. He has extensive experience in operations and logistics.
