The City of Tuscaloosa recognized Lemonade Day for the second straight year by proclaiming June 17 to be the day in a recent City Council meeting.

Mayor Walt Maddox presented the proclamation on May 23 in support of the upcoming event that promotes entrepreneurship among the youth around the community. Lemonade Day Tuscaloosa will be held on June 17 and kids will set up lemonade stands to sell their own drinks and get to keep the profits.

Here's the full proclamation that was presented to the organizers of Lemonade Day.
