Memorial Day Weekend Fun at Jay’s Farm Place

For the past few years, I've has been spending the Sunday before Memorial Day at Jay's Farm Place in Sawyerville, and this year is no different!

Eugene Tinker, the owner and operator of the farm, puts on this event as a way of giving back to his community. In the past, he's brought in acts including Denise LaSalle, Calvin Richardson, Bigg Robb, and Willie Clayton!

The lineup this year includes Tucka, Karen Wolfe, and Wilson Meadows.  However, as equally exciting to attendees is the dj Short Dogg, who keeps the crowd hype and ready for the next performer.

What I love most about this event-- in addition to Mr. Tinker's desire to serve his community --is having the opportunity to hang out with everyday WTUG listeners.  We dance, sing, laugh, and just have a good time! By the way, tents, lawn chairs, rv's, and campers are all welcome as well.
