Mya has returned with a new album, T.K.O. (The Knock Out), released on her independent label, Planet 9.

The 12-track project clocks in at 40 minutes long and features the previously released single "Damage," which finds her admitting that her new love interest could really hurt her if he wanted to, because she's so caught up.

"You could make a girl fall deep in love / Just one dose of you is way too much," she sings. "Boy, you're dangerous / Like a weapon in the wrong hands / You could do, you could do, you could do damage," she sings on the sultry track.

Last month, Mya– who currently stars in the Houston-based series, 5th Ward— told Ebro the new album was requested by fans of true R&B and is a mid-tempo, slow jams album. The release is the first of a three records that follow a theme.

Fittingly, this project comes on the eve of the 20th anniversary of her 1998 smash debut album, Mya. Take a listen to T.K.O. via Spotify below.
