Netflix Twitter Shames Repeat Viewers of ‘A Christmas Prince’
If you thought you were the only one keeping track of your weird Netflix habits, think again.
On Sunday (December 10), the streaming giant's Twitter account called out 53 users who have taken a particular liking to a new holiday classic: A Christmas Prince.
"To the 53 people who've watched A Christmas Prince every day for the past 18 days: Who hurt you?" the official Netflix account tweeted.
Reactions to the tweet were mixed. Some fans wondered if Netflix was keeping tabs on their viewing habits.
While others didn't think the mockery was cool.
A Christmas Prince stars Rose McIver (iZombie) as a journalist who goes undercover to get the scoop on a possible royal abdication. Instead, she falls in love with her subject, Prince Richard of Aldovia (Ben Lamb). [Editor's note: This never happens.]
The Netflix holiday film debuted to mixed reviews, but that hasn't stopped Netflix subscribers from watching it, tweeting about it and anticipating its inevitable sequel.
