New Music Wednesdays are my favorite times of the week and gospel music has some major releases you should pay attention to in the last quarter of 2020. It has been a great year for gospel music despite the universal pandemic around us. Gospel music soothes the soul and touches the heart while giving glory to God at the same time. Many major and independent artists have released great new singles and projects for your listening pleasure.

Gospel newcomer Doe, who has been signed to Jonathan McReynold's new label has a new release "Brighter" and "I Try" from her self-titled release is a great way to start your day. Bishop Marvin Sapp returns with his new release "Chosen Vessel" with his newest hit "Thank You For It All" takes you to a place of thanksgiving in the middle of the current pandemic. The new lady of gospel music, Evangelist Jekalyn Carr has also released her new release "Changing Your Story" with encouraging song tracks and even a beautiful CD cover that takes her music to a new level for listeners.

One new interesting release is Anthony Brown & Group Therapy's new pandemic release entitled "Stuck In The House" gives listeners who have endured being stuck at home during the pandemic some great gospel vibes and messages. Tye Tribbett is back with a followup single to his current one '"Be Alright" with "Anyhow" which has been released to digital music stores and radio worldwide. Both tracks will have your music player on repeat and calling your radio station over and over again.

Some indie artists to watch out for this fall include Marcus G. Morton, Kenny Lewis & One Voice, Jovonta Patton, Christian David & Friends, Tiff Joy, The Joylettes of Memphis and many more. Go to your favorite digital outlet and support gospel and Christian music by streaming and purchasing music today.

Take gospel music with you everywhere with you this holiday season as Christmas music is coming soon too!
