Newly Constructed Home with $250 Payments is Real

Home ownership has often been described as "the American dream," but for some people it seems like a dream that won't come true any time soon.  Would that be the case if your house payment was only $250 a month?

That's exactly what one nonprofit organization in Detroit is making possible for some low income households.

This is an awesome concept! However, these ARE tiny houses. In a society that pushes "bigger is better" (mansions, walk-in closets, acreage, etc), are home ownership and generational wealth enough to be attractive?  We certainly hope so.
