Final Days to Explore the Magic of the Northport Bunny Trail
Since late February, the Northport Bunny Trail, a project of the Junior League of Tuscaloosa, has once again transformed Historic Downtown Northport into a walkable celebration of art, community, and the unmistakable magic of spring.
“The Northport Bunny Trail has truly become a beloved tradition that brings our community together in celebration and joy,” said Danielle Kimbrough-Spikes, President of the Junior League of Tuscaloosa. “This season’s success reflects the incredible dedication of our volunteers, the enthusiasm of local families, and the strong partnerships that make events like this possible.”

The trail showcases over 85 5-foot-tall eggs, each uniquely designed by local businesses, organizations, and residents, creating a vibrant outdoor gallery. Along the way, charming, themed stops add extra photo opportunities, including the Cottontail Corners, featuring the Bunny Basket, Bunny Bench, Bunny Bridge, Bunny House, and Bunny Tree.
This year, residents enjoyed free community events, from the festive Grand Opening to the flowing Trail After Dark, the highly anticipated Egg Hunt, and the tail-wagging fun of the Pet Egg-Stravaganza.
As the final week unfolds, victors are squeezing in “one more walk,” one more photo, one more chance to spot your favorite egg. You can enjoy the trail through Sunday, April 5. Spikes said, “As we wrap up this season, we’re grateful for everyone who helped make this year’s Bunny Trail such a bright spot for West Alabama.”
