Hurricane Laura has left so many communities in Louisiana in rubles after the devastating storm that hit August 27th at 1 AM. I was looking for ways to help our friends in Lake Charles and I found fundraising opportunity for the city.

Inside the donation page, this mission statement was announced:

In the early morning hours of August 27, 2020, Hurricane Laura completely ravaged our city, leaving countless families and individuals without their homes or small businesses. As the rebuilding begins, the reality of the undertaking in front of us all is very daunting. This fundraiser is to assist our hometown with any rebuilding costs that are not covered by insurance companies. I didn’t know at what number to set the goal, but what I do know is that we can come together and far exceed this goal! Please help with whatever you can! There is no amount that is too small. Thank you all, and God bless you!

If you're not sure about donating, remember when people from all across the nation came to Tuscaloosa after the 2011 tornado that complete changed the landscape and lives of Tuscaloosa in a dreadful way. People from all walks of life came here to support and rebuild. It's our time as Tuscaloosans to come together to support our friends in Louisiana.

Roll Tide.
