Approximately 5 million Gmail accounts may have been affected by a recent security breach. Username and password info has been posted to a Russian Bitcoin forum, possibly making users the target of future phishing scams. How can you tell if you've been affected?

Check out this site: www.isleaked.com. There you'll be able to enter your Gmail address to see if it matches with leaked account information.

If you've been hacked, check out your Google Settings page to change your password or security settings. Google also offers a 2-step verification log-in for Google accounts; syncing your phone to your account allows Google to text you anytime anyone attempts to log in to your account. You won't be able to complete the log in process until you enter the security code that's sent to your phone.

Even if you haven't been hacked, it's still a good idea to change your password regularly.
