If you’re one of those pet owners who loves putting your pet in clothes, there’s a virtual event going on throughout the month of October that you don’t want to miss!

When it comes to children and pets, most parents and owners think theirs are the absolute cutest! And when others see them all dressed up or in costume, they usually are quite adorable.

With the most festive of costume-friendly occasions approaching, parents and owners alike are preparing to showcase their individuality and creativity.  Sometimes, the thrill is in seeing the children happy.  Sometimes, it’s in seeing the reactions of others. But the greatest joy is often in the winning of contests.

Habitat for Humanity of Tuscaloosa has announced that the Alice Maxwell Team of Keller Williams is hosting a Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest.  Though the name sounds like the contest is specifically for dogs or animals which howl, it’s actually open to all types of animals.

Entry requires a small donation to Habitat Tuscaloosa.  Upon receipt, participants will be sent an email with a link where pictures of pets in costume may be uploaded.

First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded with the winners announced on October 30th.

Not only does this give pet owners and opportunity to engage in a fun, COVID-friendly activity, but it is also a fundraiser for a very worthy organization.

Habitat for Humanity provides the opportunity for citizens to achieve the goal of homeownership while also improving the quality of existing homes through various programs and services.
