Tuesday, September 14th, Rod Wave hit the stage at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. The anticipation was through the roof given the history of this particular show.

Rod Wave was originally scheduled to perform in Tuscaloosa on August 31st. Ahead of that date, people began to wonder if the tour was in jeopardy due to Rod Wave's recent Instagram live session. During the live, he mentioned that he has to turn himself into the police soon, but did not give any other information as to why.

"The Atlanta show is sold out," he said. "I gotta turn myself in when I get to Atlanta."

Following confirmation of the original date, Hurricane Ida caused the August date to be postponed. After weeks of anticipation, fans finally got the chance to enjoy Rod Wave live.

The show featured Alabama rapper No Cap, Rubi Rose, OMN Twee, and DJ Five Venoms. If you want to relive one of the biggest concerts of the year or check out what you missed, we've got footage from the show below.
