"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...."

It's kinda hard to believe that we're (finally) at the end of 2020.  Christmas is just a few weeks away.

While some plan to forego the traditional giving of tangible gifts in favor of celebrating the gifts afforded every day (life, health, peace, etc.), others are still planning to go on with Christmas as usual (as normal as possible, anyway) and give a gift or two.

It goes without saying that shopping local helps our local economy to stay afloat and that when we support local business, we make sure our families', friends', and neighbors' households remain afloat, which has been made even more important by the COVID-19 pandemic. To assist in local shopping, there will be a bazaar on December 19.

The West End Christmas Festival will offer home goods, arts and crafts, apparel, accessories, jewelry, skin care products, makeup, and more.  Food trucks and other vendors will also be on location.

This event will take place at 3618 Stillman Blvd from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and affords a shopping opportunity to those who may be unable to or uncomfortable with shopping in malls, other stores, or online. Because it is so close to Christmas, this will be a great chance for last-minute shoppers to score some great deals and pick up gift sets. For more information, click here.

The wearing of masks will be enforced, and social distancing will be practiced, with contact between vendors and shoppers being as limited as possible while conducting transactions.
