For the last five months, the hip-hop community has been adjusting to a new normal as a result of the pandemic. With concerts no longer taking place and studio visits at a minimum due to social distancing, both rappers and producers are finding new ways to get in their creative bag. Rémy Martin, the legendary cognac, has a solution for all those talented beatmakers putting in work at home during the quarantine.

The premium spirit brand has launched the House Beats Challenge to inspire music producers to keep the creativity flowing at home amid the quarantine and social distancing. Supported by lauded producers Murda Beatz, Jermaine Dupri, Zaytoven and Trakgirl, Rémy Martin is calling on aspiring producers to create a beat using sounds from home. Whether it's the water dripping from the kitchen sink, ice clinking in a glass or silverware tossed around in a drawer, anything goes.

Here's how to enter: Participants 25 years of age and older submit your best beat in the form of a 30-second video or longer on Instagram, YouTube or Twitter by Aug. 7. The beat must feature at least one item from home (pots, pans, cups, table, etc.) but can also consist of different sounds. Each clip must be accompanied by the hashtags #RemyProducers and #HouseBeatsChallenge.

Five lucky winners will be selected to attend a group video chat with Murda Beatz, Jermaine Dupri, Zaytoven and Trakgirl, and take home a $500 gift card.
