Protecting Your iPhone In The Summer
Has your phone ever overheated, then a message popped up that said it wouldn’t work until it cooled down? This is happened to mine several times but one thing I didn't know is, if it stays hot for too long, you can end up with corrupted files, slowdown issues, or your battery can leak. So here are ways to protect your phone in this hot weather.
1. Don't leave it in direct sunlight. Sometimes it happens accidentally when you're charging it on a table, and you don't realize the sun shifted. Remember, it ALSO heats it up. So be careful where you plug it in.
2. Try not to leave it in your parked car. On a 95-degree day, it takes about an hour for the temperature in there to hit 115. And according to Apple, you shouldn't store your iPhone anywhere over 113 degrees.
3. Never put your phone under your pillow. Some people do it while they're charging it at night. And it can get pretty hot under there. Even if you have A/C, it can make your phone overheat.
