Ray Allen wasn’t invited to the Boston Celtics reunion on Kevin Garnett’s NBA TV KG’s Area 21 show on Monday night (May 8). Garnett explained why Allen was absent on the show.

“People don’t understand that this is real life for us," Garnett told his viewers. "The situation with Ray is very sensitive. I think when we all talked about doing this reunion tour, we was talking about guys that we consider loyal, part of this group. Just being honest -- my two cent, man. When Ray decided to go to the Heat, I felt like he moved on. He went to pursue another ring. He got another ring — shout out to him. And that’s it ... It was all Celtics invited to this.”

Ray Allen responded with a cryptic post on Facebook on Tuesday morning (May 9). In the above photo, it appears Allen is bodying through Celtics player Rajon Rondo (who is known not to be a big fan of Allen) with the caption, "The Power to Push the Limits."

Judging by this petty photo, it looks like Allen and his former Celtics teammates will never resolve their issues amicably. Meanwhile, folks on Twitter offered their opinions on the basketball rift.
