Reactions: Beyonce Performing At The CMA’s

Tonight, Beyonce will grace the stage at the Country Music Awards.The announcement was made early this morning and has caused quite a lot of controversy. Beyonce, who is a successful urban/pop singer, has made one country song. The song is entitled " Daddy Lessons" and was featured on her latest album.

Some country fans are taking offense to her performing because she has not put in the work that others have in the country music industry. While others, are saying that its great to see her performing at such a big show.

In my opinion I think it's great that she's performing, but I don't want her to take the spotlight away from real country singers.

I asked my Facebook friends what are their thoughts about the performance, and this is what they had to say.

"Jehan Donnique Wilson Shmoney is Shmoney. I know they are paying her. She once said in an interview she doesn't leave her couch for less than 100k, I'm sure by now it's much more."

"Michael Walker Country music...is deeply rooted in R&B. In fact if it weren't for black folks singing the blues to ease the pain, there would be no so-called country music.
So yeah, let her sang!!!!"
