James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said that for Friday “showers will enter the northwest counties of the state by late afternoon ahead of a cold front. Showers and a few thunderstorms are likely statewide tomorrow night; severe storms are not expected due to the lack of instability and weak dynamic support. Rain amounts for most communities will be 1/2 inch or less.”

“The sky will be mostly sunny in Tuscaloosa for the annual spring game at Bryant-Denny Stadium (2:00p CT kickoff) with temperatures in the low 70s,” said Spann.
