ESPN re-signed University of Alabama graduate Rece Davis as their host of College Gameday. Davis has served this role since 2015, travelling the country with the crew for the biggest game each week.

Davis graduated from Alabama in 1988, and he got a job at ESPN in 1995 after serving at various local news stations. He has been the poster child of the University of Alabama's sports media program ever since.

Davis is the host of College Gameday for football and basketball games, so he rarely has an offseason. He has interviewed countless notable coaches and athletes in his time with ESPN. He has hosted 115 College Gameday shows for football alone.

"I believe I have the best job in sports television," Davis said of wanting to continue as the host. "I still get a rush every time."

Davis has hosted the show at his alma-mater six times, including the highly promoted 2019 matchup with LSU.

Davis is a humble, grateful guy, and it is easy to be happy for him continuing his career on College Gameday and representing the University well.
