Rihanna wants to make an impact in global education. On Wednesday (July 26), the singer and humanitarian met with French President Emmanuel Macron and the First Lady, Brigitte Macron, in Paris on behalf of her Clara Lionel Foundation (CLF).

RiRi went to the Elysee Palace, the official residence of the French presidents, to discuss ways to fund her global education initiative. Afterward, Rihanna spoke briefly with the media that was waiting outside.

"I just had the most incredible meeting with the president and First Lady. They were incredibly welcoming to us," she told reporters. "We focused on the topic of education...and we’re going to make a big announcement this coming September.”

Rihanna also said that she would continue her charitable work in Africa in October and "can’t wait for you guys to hear where this is going to go." “I think this is the year for education," she added.

When the reporters asked her what she is planning, Rihanna responded back, "Stay Tuned!" It appears that her meeting with the French president was a success as she went on Twitter to thanked him and the First Lady for their commitment to global and girls education.

Rihanna is the founder of the Clara Lionel Foundation, a nonprofit organization that funds education and health programs for impoverished communities around the globe. The altruistic singer will host her third annual Diamond Ball event with Dave Chappelle as host and Kendrick Lamar as the musical guest. The charity event, with proceeds going to CLF, will take place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York on Sept. 14.
