Schools Announce Tuesday Closings Amid the Threat of Wintry Weather

The threat of inclement weather has prompted some school systems to plan closings Tuesday.

According to ABC 33/40, the following schools and school systems will be closed Tuesday:

Bevill State Community College

Bibb County Schools

Blount County Schools

Chilton County Schools

Cullman City Schools

Cullman County Schools

Fayette Christian Academy

Fayette County Schools

Hale County Schools

Haleyville City Schools

Jasper City Schools (In addition, opening delayed until 10 a.m. Wednesday)

Marion County Schools

Oneonta City Schools

Pelham City Schools

Pickens County Schools 

Randolph County Schools : Closing early at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, January 16th

Samford University

Shelton State Community College

Stillman College

Sumiton Christian School

Sumter County Head Start

Tuscaloosa City Schools

Tuscaloosa County Schools

Walker County Schools

Winfield City Schools

Winston County Schools
