Singer, Songwriter, Producer Leon Haywood Dies At 74

Leon Haywood singer, songwriter and producer died at the age of 74 Tuesday. Leon Haywood is best known for “Don’t Push It Don’t Force It” and I Want’a Do Something Freaky to You.”

I Want’a Do Something Freaky to You” was sampled by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg on “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang.” Leon Haywood’s work was also sampled by Aaliyah, Cam’ron, J. Cole and Common, 50 Cent and Redman.
