While most restrictions designed to protect the masses from COVID-19 have been lifted, bars, clubs, and concert venues still can't operate and maintain safety.  This means the options for concerts are extremely limited. So, artists are becoming more innovative.

The Verzuz battles on Instagram have been extremely popular for mainstream Urban artists. The series was created by producers Swizz Beatz and Timbaland as a way to entertain fans during quarantine.

So far, artists featured in the series include Teddy Riley and Babyface, rappers T-Pain and Lil Jon, producers Scott Storch and Mannie Fresh, and Jill Scott and Erykah Badu. (By the way, the next "episode" is said to be Ludacris vs. Nelly!)

But what about more regional artists like Sir Charles Jones, Omar Cunningham, and Calvin Richardson?

Southern soul fans usually look forward to this time of year where they can bring out their lawn chairs, tents, and coolers to enjoy music from their favorite artists in venues that are welcoming to the laid back nature of the music.

However, with the uncertainty of COVID-19, no such concerts have been announced... Until now! And you don't even have to leave home.

Omar Cunningham, Sir Charles Jones, and their brother Calvin Richardson...Collectively called "Triple C"!

Get ready for a COVID-19-friendly performance from the musicians and their special guest Bigg Robb, hosted by MC Lightfoot on Saturday, May 23 at 8:00 p.m.

This means you can see the show without having to find a babysitter, without trying to figure out what to wear, and without needing a designated driver.  Simply set your reminders, pay your viewing fee, and have a good time from your place of comfort!

Viewing parties are discouraged, as social distancing is still in practice.
