I’m not sure that that research experience or anything else other than luck can yield anything in Vegas.  Corey Harrison an assistant professor won $432,411 in Las Vegas last week.

Harrison was on summer vacation in Las Vegas when he took first place in a “No-Limit Hold’em event on the World Series of Poker circuit.

Harrison was better than 1,731 players.  He says his research experience helped him develop patience, which gave him an advantage.  Hey, I am not mad at the brother. I need a loan! I hope he reads this.  Full story.
