Stillman College Supports Local with ‘Black Wall Street’ Shopping Event

Stillman College is hosting a ‘Black Wall Street’ shopping event that is open to the public on Monday, February 28, 2022, starting at 11 a.m on Greek Row. You can support local Black-owned businesses at this event that “showcases art, jewelry, clothing, and home accessories,” said the Press Release.

Supporting local black businesses is a favorite with community members. This is the 2^nd ‘Black Wall Street’ shopping event and returns due to successful showcase of custom clothing, art, candles, and jewelry in the fall,” noted on the Stillman College Facebook Page.

Black History Month at Stillman College has been very busy. The ‘Black Wall Street’ public shopping event wraps up a month filled with many events including Homecoming. The Spring edition of the ‘Black Wall Street’ event will be held on the Greek Row location on the campus of Stillman College.

Directions to Greek Row

Stillman College is located at 3601 Stillman Blvd. in Tuscaloosa. Only the main entrance at the intersection with 38th Avenue is open.

After entering the front gate, advance straight until reaching the first stop sign. Greek Row will be located to the left of the stop sign.

Take a right at the stop sign and park in the first lot.
