Stillman’s “Female Firsts” Luncheon Honors Area Women
Stillman College honored 19 area women Thursday afternoon at the third annual Female Firsts luncheon in the Cordell Wynn Humanities and Fine Arts Center.
The luncheon was established in 2017, when Dr. Cynthia Warrick became the first female president of the college. Warrick wanted to recognize other great women and hosted the inaugural Female Firsts luncheon to celebrate them.
Previous honorees include Congresswoman Terri Sewell, former Alabama Gymnastics Coach Sarah Patterson, circuit court judge Elizabeth Hamner and many more.
This year, Stillman and Warrick honored 19 women including doctors, attorneys, entrepreneurs, former University of Alabama President Judy Bonner, the reigning Miss Alabama and more. The full list is as follows:
