Suge Knight is often the key culprit at the end of rap conspiracy theories, including a widely thought belief that he had something to do with the death of Tupac Shakur. But in an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, unearthed from 2003, Knight fuels another conspiracy -- that he might be behind the death of one of the most notorious rappers, Eazy-E.

As the N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton, rises in the box office, hip-hop fans relived the death of the Ruthless Records founder, who actually died in 1995, of AIDS at the age of 31.

Although the two were at odds, it was unlikely to believe that Knight would be responsible for his death -- until now.

"Technology is so high. If you shoot somebody, you go to jail forever. You don’t want to go to jail forever...They have a new thing out. They have this stuff they called...they get blood from somebody with AIDS and they shoot you with it," the Death Row co-founder told Jimmy Kimmel as his feet were propped up and a cigar in his mouth. "That’s [a] slow death. The Eazy-E thing, you know what I mean?"

Knight and Eazy-E were feuding with each other after Dr. Dre left the group to form Death Row Records with Knight. But Eazy-E refused to give Dre up -- until the former bodyguard threatened Eazy-E with lead pipes and baseball bats.

Now, Knight's chilling joke seems to hit a little too close to home.

The 50-year-old bodyguard-turned-hip-hop mogul is currently on trial for murder and attempted murder in a hit-and-run accident. If convicted, he could receive life in prison.
