Alabama gymnastics put on a show in Seattle Thursday afternoon. Shallon Olsen earned and tied her career-best scores on balance beam and vault with a 9.950. Luisa Blanco performed on the uneven bars and scored a 9.900 while Makarri Doggette may have retweaked her ankle injury on her bar dismount. She still scored a 9.900, however. Griffin James made her competition debut on floor in place of Blanco and scored a solid 9.875. The Crimson Tide along with Michigan State will compete Saturday at 7 p.m. against the top two teams from session two Thursday night.
You might find this hard to believe, but the Crimson Tide has been left off a top 25 list. The Daily Meal released its list of the 25 best college bars in the country and The University of Alabama did not make the cut. In fact, only three Southeastern Conference schools had a bar on the list...
