Over the past few days, there has been much talk about Houston mega church Lakewood Church not being available as a shelter from flood waters.

It was said that the church itself flooded, that all routes leading to the church were flooded, and even that there was no flooding near the church whatsoever.

Other than those who were actually at the church to make an assessment, no one really knows whether the church was flooded or not.  However, a spokesperson for the church has said that the church is prone to flooding and that taking in refugees might have placed them into another dangerous situation.
