The Holiday Season Can also Bring Out the worst In People

The holiday season is suppose to be a season of Joy, Giving and spreading Joy, but there's some out there that use this time of year to spread fear and theft. The latest is In home invasions, and the method of getting you to open your door to get inside, is by posing as a delivery person, UPS, USPS or FedEx.

So if you are expecting any sort of over night package or just a package being delivered by a service make sure you ask for ID or make sure you can see the delivery van. There has been a rash of robberies in and around west Central Alabama over the past months including here in Tuscaloosa.

Investigators believe that Donald Augustus Clark, 21, is one of the people involved in a home invasion robbery Wednesday night. Victim Willis Sample, 77, died from a heart attack shortly after two armed men forced their way into his home on 55th Court East. Two suspect stole the Samples' car and other items.
