The Johnny Shines Blues Scholarship Will Get Local Choir To Carnegie Hall

Nothing is more important to a student looking for help with college than winning a scholarship. I remember when my oldest Daughter was awarded one, makes not oly the child proud but also the parents, and not to mention its a little light on the savings account.

The Johnny Shines Blues Scholarship is a different type scholarship, this is more of a donation. This years donation is going to the Westlawn Middle school Choir, it will help them get to Carnegie Hall for a performance later this year.

This award is all about the Children, over the years Johnny was always wanting to give back, so this award was established for just that purpose. Caroline Shine, Johnny's daughter runs the foundation and wants to continue her fathers legacy.
