The Juicy Crab at Tuscaloosa Sets Opening Date

The wait is over, Tuscaloosa. The Juicy Crab at Midtown Village has finally set an opening date.

The restaurant announced its Grand Opening will be tomorrow (Saturday, December 28th). The Juicy Crab at Tuscaloosa can be found in the former Baumhower's Victory Grille location. We've been waiting since May for the Juicy Crab to open its doors.

The Juicy Crab was founded in Duluth, Georgia in 2015 and labels itself a New Orleans-style seafood boil where guests can expect heavily seasoned crab, shrimp, lobster and more served alongside new potatoes, corn on the cob, rice and other sides in plastic bags of spicy, steamy juice.

A controversy surrounding a rival restaurant popped up earlier this month when T-Town Juicy Crab opened its doors. T-Town Juicy Crab is not affiliated with the Juicy Crab franchise.
