On Saturday, Feb 15 at 10am, the Tuscaloosa City Schools and the University of Alabama's Parent Leadership Academy will host a workshop in the Central High School auditorium to will provide attendees with information about Alabama's College and Career-Readiness Standards.

According to Tuscaloosa Police, 21-year-old Roberto Demetrius Gladney was arrested following the robbery of two people Monday afternoon. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail pending a $120,000 bond.
