Tickets on Sale for West Alabama Food & Wine Festival

If food festivals are your thing, go ahead and make plans for this one!

Thursday, April 11, the West Alabama Food and Wine Festival will be held at the Tuscaloosa River Market, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

This event, hosted by West Alabama Food and Wine Festival and Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, features food from local chefs and drinks from area brewers.

General admission includes tastings form more than 20 restaurants, wine vendors and local breweries in addition to a keepsake wine glass. VIP admission includes the previous as well as table seating, a private win bar, and the chance to taste last year's People's Choice "Best Dish."

For those who find themselves going to "staple" restaurants but want to branch out and try other Tuscaloosa area establishments, festivals such as this one are the way to go as one price buys samples from dozens of restaurants.
