Tuscaloosa's Tinsel Trail is one of the highlights of the holidays in Tuscaloosa.  A major fundraiser for Tuscaloosa's One Place, the Tinsel Trail is dozens of Christmas trees sponsored and decorated by Tuscaloosa area businesses and organizations.

Tinsel Trail is a project of Tuscaloosa’s One Place, a Family Resource Center, a 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of local families.  We serve over 8,500 people per year through after school programs, parenting and fatherhood, healthy relationship education, career development, GED classes, and teen intervention programs.  Proceeds from Tinsel Trail are used to support these programs and serve our local community.

The grand opening for the Tinsel Trail was held on Monday, November 25th.

The trees will be on display through the beginning of the new year. The trail extends from the Tuscaloosa River Market to another stretch of trees near the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater.

On a pleasant night late this fall or early winter, feel free to load up the family for a walk at dusk, or wait a little later and make it a date night.

There is no admission fee for walking the Tinsel Trail, and when you post your photos, please use the #ttowntinsel tag. Also, be sure to check it for others' pictures.
