Trains Can No Longer Block City Street In Tuscaloosa without Paying a Fine

How often dos it happen, everyday? How many times you drive down Greensboro Ave. Hoping that you don't get caught by that dreaded train just outside the Tuscaloosa Train station. As I approach I always get nervous that I'll be the one that get's caught. Then It sits their idle for about 20 minutes while you are either late for a Meeting, lunch or work itself.

Well the mayor and the Tuscaloosa City Police will start ticketing railroad companies that lock down man roads in and around the city. In most cases the railway does have the right of way, but some of those waits are just too long, especially when trains are changing tracks.

But the question remains is just how that ticket will cost, The railroad may write it off as the cost of doing Business.
