Trees create such a beautiful landscape for our city and other great added bonuses.  According to Save A Tree, “Trees contribute to their environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife.”

This Saturday will be a Tree Seedling Giveaway hosted by the City of Tuscaloosa – Government and partners.  According to the Facebook page event, “The City of Tuscaloosa, along with the Alabama Power Service Organization and the Alabama Forestry Commission, will be giving out 5,000 bare root tree seedlings during its annual Arbor Week tree giveaway.
